From January 23rd to 24th, the 13th China Charity Festival and ESG Impact Annual Conference was held in Beijing. The theme of this festival was "Speak up for love, work together for the future". Shenzhen Gongjin Electronics Co., Ltd. won the "2023 ESG Pioneer Enterprise Award", Shenzhen Tongwei Love Charity Foundation won the "2023 Education Public Welfare Contribution Award", and the promotional short film "The Light Burner" planned and filmed by Shenzhen Tongwei Love Charity Foundation won the "2023 Public Welfare Image Award". The festival showcased the achievements of Tongwei's social innovation and educational public welfare undertakings, and passed on Tongwei's power to promote diverse public welfare actions.
Long Xiaojing, deputy general manager of Shenzhen Gongjin Electronics Co., Ltd. and chairman of Shenzhen Tongwei Love Public Welfare Foundation, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the theme of "ESG: Leading Corporate Sustainable Development and Value Creation". He introduced the ESG strategic management system of Gongjin Electronics and the achievements it has made, and shared the company's medium- and long-term development path for ESG. The ESG management system of Gongjin Electronics advocates business ethics, harmonious community, and sustainable development. Based on the Shenzhen Tongwei Love Public Welfare Foundation, it has continuously supported education and has donated to build 10 "Tongwei Hope Primary Schools". In the past 23 years, a total of 2,564 high school students and 1,264 college students have graduated from the Tongwei Hope Primary Schools, with a total of 73,643 person-times of assistance. More than 120,000 people have participated in charitable donations and public welfare activities.
